Mathilde Wittock is a bio/eco designer and material researcher with a focus on sustainable innovation. Originally from Belgium, she studied biodesign and industrial design at Central Saint Martins in London, where she developed her expertise.

Currently based in Brussels, Mathilde Wittock collaborates with a university on research into the acoustic properties of materials. Her work in this area seeks to integrate sound into design, contributing to more meaningful and sensory-rich experiences.

Mathilde Wittock introduces the Back to back Bounce Bench, a double bench in Sonian local wood covered in reclaimed tennis balls. The balls she uses in her Bounce pieces are collected from Belgian tennis clubs. After being cut and tainted, they are assembled into a patented system that she designed.
