Eos
By Ariane van Dievoet
Ariane van Dievoet has made the recovery of materials the core of her work as a designer. She creates furniture and objects from discarded stones and mirrors, which she combines with scrap of wood or local wood from Brussels Sonian forest (Sonian).
One of her specialities is to accentuate the patterns created by the fractures in the stone by applying the same cut to the piece of wood that supports it. This work allows her to create unique pieces inspired by the story of the materials.
